BODYWORK: Constructed from fifteen individual blocks of European beech, glued and pinned together followed by hand carving and finishing using contour templates. Following several coats of 2 part sealing laquer, the body shell is then sprayed with up to 12 coats of cellulose paint, finishing with a further 6 coats of clear gloss lacquer.


BRIGHTWORK: All hand made from brass, soft soldered together, polished and finally chrome plated.


INTERIOR: Seats and interior panels covered in leather, the reverse side being used for carpets and transmission tunnel. Leather covered dash board complete with instruments, knobs and hand built wood rim steering wheel with Cobra motif in the centre.


WHEELS AND TYRES: 72-spoke triple laced wire wheels made using brass rims and hubs, which are turned and drilled followed by plating. Each wheel is then hand laced using polished stainless steel wire spokes, finished off with tyres made from turned rings of perspex sprayed satin black.
